League Against Cruel Sports to keep Labour in opposition.

Poor Labour on course to lose yet another general election and probably every one for the next twenty years at least. The trouble is they need to win over the countryside and obtain their vote as did Tony Blair for his sweep to power. Only the countryside have strengthened their resolve in favour of the Conservatives largely down to the fact they don’t like being labeled and called animal abusers by Labour-supporting cat owning lefties from the towns. The fact remains the vast majority of animals kept by humans are in the countryside and the countryside folk are not on this planet to provide Labour and their supporters with a cause and left wing animal rights charities parading as impartial animal welfare charities with money spinning, wallet busting campaigns.

Labour are chronic sufferers of confirmation bias and the false consensus effect, they only seek out information that supports their view and back that up with biased polling. The public consultation they are currently holding is merely an exercise in confirmation bias, hoping to find more in favour of their proposed animal rights policy, incorrectly dubbed animal welfare policy.

The fact is nobody gives a damn about how we kill foxes and that’s according to Yougov, Ipsos Mori and the League Against Cruel Sports. Yes I did say the League Against Cruel sports , they held a poll in Wales a year back with the intention of showing 80% of the population supported a ban and they also wanted to show animal welfare was top of voters priorities. We can guess the second question fell spectacularly on its butt as they withheld the information. Of course they strongly suspected this would be the case that’s why they used a pollster not associated to the British Polling Council, they ditched Ipsos Mori because they would have been obliged to let the public know the result.

So the animal rights advisors to the Labour party are actually withholding information from them and deliberately keeping them out of office so as to keep their support for the League’s own money spinning fundamentalist agenda. That’s the problem when you listen to just one side, you seek out what you want to hear. ANOTHER TWENTY YEARS IN OPPOSITION.
